I’ve attempted cookies a couple of times with quite similar recipes but this was the first time I made them where when I cooked them, they didn’t change shape.
You basically make a dough, roll into into a log & chill for an hour before slicing into rounds. After baking, they look a lot like the M&S style cookies rather than, say, Millie’s cookies.


They are choc chip & walnuts. I liked them but didn’t think they were a good enough standard to share out at work. Another attempt maybe is needed as I think I overcooked these after initially undercooking them. Recipe was from BBC Good Food.
