Choccy melts

It doesn’t happen often, but today I came across a recipe for some cookies for which I had all the ingredients and didn’t need to buy anything – saving me from venturing out of the house to Tesco’s!

The recipe was from Baking Magic, for something called Choccy Melts. Just a combo of butter, cornflour, flour, icing sugar, and cocoa. Plus some melted chocolate for the topping. The recipe said it would be easy – and yep, it sure was easy. After some beating of the butter, just mixing all ingredients togther, roll and press into circles, bake, and top with melted chocolate. Simples!

So, the first picture of them straight out of the oven:

And then, topped with melted chocolate – one with sprinkles, and one without. Very tasty, but you need a cup of tea or coffee with them – quite rich. Or a nice glass of milk. Your choice.
